70 players from 10 countries will participate in the tournament, including England, Estonia, Germany, India, Israel, Italy, Norway, Sweden, Ukraine and Latvia.
The tournament will be held in the Latvian winter tourism city Sigulda, from November 11 to 13.

Following the entry deadline, the provisional schedule was updated on 14/10/2022:
November 11, Friday:
* R64 MS (starting at 9h30)
* R32 MS, WS & XD (starting at 10h30)
* R16 MD & WD (starting at 18h)
November 12, Saturtday:
* R16 MS, WS & XD (starting at 9h30)
* all QF (starting at 15h30)
November 13, Sunday:
* all SF (starting at 9h30)
* all finals (starting at 13h)
* and Price giving ceremony follows (also for semi-finalists)
The tournament will be played on 2 courts.

In 2022, Latvia plans to organize the first World Junior Ranking Tournament “Yonex Latvia Junior 2022”. It was supposed to happen already in 2021, but it was canceled due to Covid-19. The Latvian international junior tournament is planned in Sigulda, the place where the Badminton Europe U17 circuit tournament “Yonex Lafvia U17” has taken place three times since 2019. The tournament will take place in Sigulda Sports Center, from 10 to 13 Novembrer 2022. Youth and junior badminton tournaments will also be here, which will be held simultaneously with Yonex Latvia Junior 2022

Connection with the junior tournament in Lithuania
The Latvian junior tournament will take place a week after the Lithuanian junior tournament, so players, parents and coaches are invited to plan one trip with two tournaments. After the Lithuanian tournament, whether in Latvia or Lithuania, it will be possible to organize a training camp.
